2026 UPDATE: Echo whorls are now being produced in a matching wood-tan color rather than black to blend better with the rest of the wheel.


Welcome to the Echo - a beautifully versatile wheel made right here in the USA by SpinOlution. The Echo is a member of SpinOlution's modular series, along with the Monarch and Firefly, with interchangeable flyer heads between the three wheels. Start your spinning on the Echo and when you're ready to travel, place the flyer head on the Firefly (purchased separately) and GO! The Echo features the gentle rocker treadles SpinOlution wheels are known for, as well as the magnetic flyers and bobbins, and hook orifice (no threader needed!). Each flyer head comes with three magnetic bobbins. This wheel is made of birch plywood for durability and warp-resistant qualities.


If you're like me and love to show off your wheel, consider the beautiful wildflower engraving available ! You can choose from different engraving options to suit your budget: Front (spinner-faced) wheel engraving, back (audience-side wheel) engraving, both sides of the wheel base, or complete engraving (both sides of the drive wheel and the wheel base). Note the pictures for the listing show FULL engraving.


The Echo has multiple options to choose from depending on your spinning needs. If you need help deciding which one is right for you, please message me, I'm happy to help you choose the right fit! And if you can't decide on just one option, consider getting more *Bang-for-your-Buck* with a studio package. Each studio package comes with two flyer heads and 3 bobbins per flyer (6 bobbins total), a hook orifice and a tube orifice (for extra fine spinning) per flyer head (4 total), a lazy kate (retail price $215), and a skein winder (retail $150).
