100% Bluefaced leicester (BFL) wool , handspun into a heavier fingering weight yarn. It was hand-dyed by Greenwood Fiberworks and will make you think you've stepped into a vast field of tulips in early Spring. Each skein has been washed and set to remove extra dye, but please wash separately until you are certain there are no longer any loose dye particles.

These hanks are being sold as a trio to complement one another in your next project! A total of 8.25oz and 850 yards!

*The multi-color hank is 4 oz and approximately 400 yards.

*The pink hank is 2oz and approximately 220 yards.

* The green hank is 2.25oz and approximately 230 yards.

Note: I measure yardage after the yarn is fully dried and "bloomed" after wet finishing to give you the most accurate specifications possible. I do not weight or stretch yarns while they dry to be sure they are balanced.

This yarn was spun in a semi-worsted style on a Spinolution Firefly spinning wheel (available here). BFL wool can vary in softness and I would consider this fine-grade for BFL.

Please remember, this is handspun and there will be various textures and yarn weights throughout the skein. I do my best to accurately represent the overall size and nature of the yarn, but it will vary.

Care instructions: To prevent extreme shrinkage and felting, handwash gently in cold water, lay flat to dry. Do not put machine. Do not agitate vigorously in water. Do not ring out -- press flat to express excess water.

These hanks were spun in a smoke-free, pet-friendly home.
