Antique Christmas - 100% Superfine Merino
These two hanks are 100% Superfine Merino wool yarn in fingering weight. Available individually but would be ideal as a set. Hank A is a multicolored hank with dark, muted shades of red, green, and tan perfect for antique Christmas decor. Hank B is a smaller hank of the same wool in a solid shade of matching red. Both of these were dyed by Greenwood Fiberworks.

This is a superfine merino that should definitely be used for next-to-skin projects. But once it's yours, make whatever you like, no judgement!
This yarn was spun in a semi-worsted style on a Schacht Sidekick spinning wheel. It still has plenty of bounce but is a bit more worsted than my other yarns. Please remember, these are handspun and there will be various textures and yarn weights throughout the skein. I do my best to accurately represent the overall size and nature of the yarn, but it will vary.
This yarn is available as-is in hank form or it can be wound off into a ball. Note that if it is wound off into a ball it is NON RETURNABLE for any reason. The increase in cost is due to the extra shipping charges incurred as the yarn in a ball must be sent in a box rather than a soft-sided envelope. Care instructions: To prevent extreme shrinkage and felting, handwash gently in cold water, lay flat to dry. Do not put in a dryer. Do not agitate vigorously in water. Do not ring out -- press flat to express excess water.
