Angelfish Towels
If you are a lover of tropical fish, especially the Emperor Angelfish, then these handwoven towels are for you! The warp was a natural 6/2 cotton that I dyed by hand and then wove on my Louet Spring loom with an 8/2 cotton warp in deep blue. Weaving alone is such a joy, but dyeing your own colorways gives you a one-of-a-kind result that never ceases to amaze!
These towels are 100% cotton and average 25" long by 19" wide. They have been washed, pressed, and hemmed. I have found that pressing the towels gives them that gorgeous crisp look, but can interfere with absorption as the small cotton fibers become compressed under the iron. So I recommend washing as you would regular towels - hot water, hot dryer - but not ironing if you want maximum absorption. And while they have been washed and dried already, I suggest using a color catcher in the wash until you are certain there is no more loose dye left in the yarn.
These towels were made in a pet-friendly, smoke-free environment.
Note that towels are individually labeled so please double-check that you're order selection matches the towel label in the photos.
